General Information
Accessing AGSL materials
To better preserve the materials in the Library, retrieving and refiling maps is restricted to AGSL staff. Users should have staff pull any materials they want to look at, and leave materials out for the staff to file away.
The AGSL Rare Room is restricted to staff only. The AGSL staff will retrieve any needed materials from the Rare Room. Access to rare materials will be provided to users in the AGSL Rare Materials Viewing Room.
Users may reserve pulled materials for a negotiated amount of time ranging from several days to a semester. This allows users to easily access specific material periodically without having the staff retrieve the items every time the user visits.

All responsibility for questions of copyright that may arise in the use of reproduced material provided by the AGSL must be assumed by the user.
Permission to use AGSL Material for publication
Permission to use images of AGSL materials in a publication must be requested in writing and is subject to certain conditions, which are outlined in the AGSL form Permission for Reproduction of Materials. For more information about use of AGSL materials in publications, contact the AGSL.
