PIN Required for Cellular Phone Use in New York, New Jersey, San Diego

Effective December 16, 2003, UWM employees with a departmental cellular phone who are traveling in the states of New York or New Jersey, or the city of San Diego, CA., must use a pre-assigned PIN number (personal identification number) to complete outgoing cellular telephone calls while in those areas. For more information, or to request the pre-assigned PIN number, please contact I&MT’s Sandra Lind at x2362. The change in procedure is necessitated by the high volume of cellular fraud in those areas.
