Centralized Card Access System (CCAS)
In realizing the ever growing need for extra security for the protection of people and property on campus, the University Police has untaken the responsibility for launching a Centralized Card Access System, CCAS. This high-tech system can be formed around the wide variety of security needs for different departments, schools, and research areas on campus.
In collaboration with many campus partners, we are able to provide a wide array of different security measures, including but not limited to high-security areas, card access readers, biometrics, and closed-circuit television (CCTV). The CCAS is flexible in how secure an area can be, as well as being flexible in meeting the scheduling and alarming needs of the requester.
The access control system currently in use is the Andover Continuum system. This system allows a wide variety of flexibility and control for controlling door schedules for unlocking and locking, alarming, and monitoring.
Any inquiries on CCAS can be made to me, Officer Steven Beaudry, via email at sbeaudry@bfs.uwm.edu or by phone at 414-229-4627. For questions regarding Andover either check Andover 's website at www.andovercontrols.com , or contact me. If you are interested in an access control system, or for security cameras, contact the University Police, and a meeting time will be arranged to address your security concerns.
In addition to myself, you can also contact any of the following in regards to the CCAS:
