Abstract: |
Analyses of the efficient use of
technologies in the context of irrigated agriculture have been numerous
in the literature. On the other hand, empirical studies on rainfed
agriculture which is an important source of production and employment
generation in many developing countries are scanty. The objective of
this paper is to examine how effectively farmers in the rainfed areas in
the Philippines, given the current modern technology, apply the
technology at the farm level and to identify the factors causing
differences in efficiency amongst farmers. |
