Abstract: |
A money demand function for Japan's
economy has been estimated to explore if recent financial innovations
have caused any statistically significant change in the structural
relationship between the demand for money and its economic determinants.
Our empirical results suggest that the process of financial innovation
is less a problem than some economists believe. |
