Teaching The Field Station is heavily used for teaching. Students often gain their first "hands-on" experience with natural processes at the Field Station; these experiences cannot be duplicated in a laboratory on campus. Several well-tested field exercises have been developed on a wide variety of topics for teaching at the Station. Contact the Field Station for more information. The Field Station Bulletin is published twice annually to further our educational objectives. We welcome manuscripts on topics in the biological and physical sciences, especially those focusing on the natural history of southeastern Wisconsin and the Field Station area. This publication may be obtained, free of charge, by contacting the Director. Click here to see an index of the Field Station Bulletin. |
