I welcome you to my world, the world of ultrashort laser pulses and ultrafast phenomena.

As you have probably already discovered, science is all around us. There is no escaping it. Hence, I am not going to make a foolish attempt to flee from what develops our lives, but rather welcome you to it.

The multiple branches of science have existed since the beginning of time, but it is only recently that we have discovered their underlying mysteries. It is up to professors, like myself, to continue this endeavor towards understanding the world around us and even possibly answering the most sought after question: What is the meaning of life?
