Student First Initiative
Customer Service Training
Goal / Purpose :
The
purpose of this initiative is to create a culture in the Division
of Student Affairs that will encourage and train staff how to provide
topnotch customer service to UWM students, as well as foster an atmosphere
of friendliness and civility between students and staff.
The goals of the initiative are:
Ø
To
create a division-wide culture based in student
development, putting students first, and providing optimal customer
service.
Ø
To
instill a philosophy within the division that the campus climate is
dependent on us being civil, helpful and respectful to each other and
students.
Ø
To
help staff understand that there is no more important task than helping
the student in front of them.
Ø To improve on the appropriate evaluation measures in the senior survey and other assessment tools.
