General Information |
Evaluations SHOULD BE DONE three times the first year; at the three month point, again at the six month point and YEARLY thereafter. For any wage increase, re-class or reallocation there must be a current evaluation on file. Current means one that is not over a year old. You can evaluate more than once a year if needed. (Historically because of general wage increases and budget year endings, there has been an emphasis to update evaluations in June of each year.) It is logical at this time to submit an updated position when duties have been modified or changed. The preferred documents for this process are the Performance Standards (submitted with position descriptions) forming the base, using the form from the Human Resource website to evaluate the performance of the employee, based on the criteria listed on the Performance Standards. If you do not use the form from the Human Resource Department PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT YOU PRINT OUT THE NAME OF THE EMPLOYEE AND THE SUPERVISOR SOMEWHERE ON THE EVALUATION FORM. |
