James Liddy is a poet and a professor of English. He teaches courses in creative writing, poetry, and Irish literature. His books include A White Thought in a White Shade (1987), Collected Poems (Creighton University Press, 1994), and Gold Set Dancing (2000). A study of his life and work, written by Brian Arkins and entitled James Liddy: A Critical Study, was published in 2001.
