_______	Category A Subcommittee: This group will consider issues of the particular concern to the non-teaching academic/non-research staff.
_______	Category B Subcommittee: This group will consider issues of particular concern to the teaching/research academic staff.
_______	Economic Benefits Subcommittee: This group will make recommendations concerning compensation and benefits for academic staff.
_______	Legislative Subcommittee: This group will consider how best to pursue issues of concern to the academic staff with the UW System Board of Regents, legislators, the Governor and other elected officials.
_______	Mentoring Subcommittee: This group will encourage senior academic staff to develop a one-on-one mentoring relationship to help nurture incoming academic staff in their career progress toward indefinite status or multi-year contracts.
_______	Public Relations Subcommittee: This group will work to enhance community and campus relations as it pertains to academic staff, to publish an Academic Staff Handbook, to coordinate orientation procedures for new academic staff, to oversee publications of the Academic Staff newsletter.
