awards are available through the School of Information
Studies.
Please Note: A valid US Tax ID or Social Security Number is required to be eligible for receipt of any scholarship funding.
UNDERGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIPS
- Dean's IR Scholarship
Deadline: May 1st
$1,000 Award, Non-Renewable
Eligibility Requirements: High school senior planning to enroll full-time in Information Resources. It is recommended that students appLy for admission to UWM no later than November 1 in order to be considered for this award. No separate application is necessary. Consideration is based on outstanding ACT/SAT score, rank, and GPA.

- Illinois Scholar Incentive Award
$5,000 Awards (Renewable)
Eligibility Requirements:
Illinois Residents applying to UWM who are in
the top 25% of their high school graduating
class.
Minimum ACT score of 26.

The budget for the Graduate Student Travel Awards program has been increased for FY05-06. The Graduate Student Travel Awards Program has two deadlines per year. the deadline for the next round of proposals is October 14, 2005. For more information on the program, please see the RSA website.
