The School of Information Studies is pleased to announce its new Ph.D. in Information Studies. This program is a unique research degree that provides an opportunity for students to develop, apply, and critically evaluate the relevance of theory and the effectiveness of its application to a variety of research areas.

Building on one of the largest and most varied MLIS programs in the country, the program will prepare leading researchers, teachers, and administrators in:

• Information Retrieval
