Funding for Students

Typically, the Psychology Department is able to guarantee 3 years of funding for graduate students. Although we typically guarantee three years, it is often the case that we fund beyond three years.

Typical funding for Ph.D. students involves.

  • Full tuition waiver (in-state and out of state)
  • A stipend of around $1,000/mo for the academic year
  • Health Insurance

In exchange for this funding, students are expected to serve as teaching or research assistants which involves up to 20 hours/week of work.
