Feeding Disorders Specialty Clinic
The Feeding and Swallowing Center, located at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin (CHW), is a collaborative effort among CHW, the Medical College of Wisconsin, and UWM. Clinical psychology graduate students participate in the evaluation and treatment of children with simple to complex feeding/swallowing disorders. Participation can include:
- Assessment of parent-child feeding interactions
- Outpatient, inpatient, and in-home behavioral treatment
- Development of behavioral technologies to refine assessment and treatment
- Evaluation of broader systemic concerns (parents, extended family, day care) that may impact feeding and growth
- Effectiveness of parent training
