William Bristow will be joining the department in Fall 2007. His Ph.D. is from Harvard, and he taught for a number of years at the University of California, Irvine. His areas of specialization include Kant and Nineteenth Century German Philosophy, and his book, Hegel and the Transformation of Philosophical Critique, was published this year by Oxford University Press.
