Custodial Services
Physical Plant Services is responsible for the day to day cleaning in all University buildings excluding Housing and the Student Union. The campus is divided into six day shift areas and one third shift area. Each section is headed by a Custodial Supervisor. To cover emergencies, we have one person assigned to the second shift. This department is also responsible for pest control, recycling, fire extinguisher inspection and re-charging, and electric bulb changing. Stores
The Stores department is responsible for ordering, stocking, and inventory control of all material used by the various departments of Physical Plant Services. This sub-department is also responsible for the operation of the "shuttle bus" for pickup and delivery of material and personnel.
Grounds

The Grounds department is responsible for all grounds care, including the PAT athletic field.
During the winter months, this section is also charged with campus snow and ice removal. The grounds crew strives to present an area that makes a lasting impression on student, staff, faculty and visitors. The use of University grounds by groups wishing to stage events must be cleared through the Physical Plant Director.
This sub-department also provides moving service. Departments initiating moves will be charged for the service. To request moving assistance, complete a work order form and moving forms and forward them to the Work Order Center. Moves will be scheduled by the Grounds Supervisor, Ext. 6272.
Departments desiring to surplus furniture or other materials should contact the Purchasing department.
