Asbestos Containing Material (ACM) Image Page-Electrical

Electrical Wiring:

There can be a variety of electrical wiring in buildings. The two wires on the far right have asbestos insulation (10-30% chrysotile, sample #10612K46). This wire was obtained in the flex conduit "fixture whips" leading to light fixtures (see bottom right photo). This was called "AF wire", for asbestos fiber wire.

Theatrical Lamps:

Insulation and electrical wiring in these theatrical lamps is ACM.
