The Department of Physical Plant Services is responsible for maintenance and custodial care of the buildings and grounds, departmental moving, recycling center, operation of the various mechanical and electrical systems for steam heat and air conditioning, energy management, building mechanical maintenance, design and construction of minor remodeling projects, construction management on state-funded projects, and mail collection and delivery.
