LINKS mission is to enhance the academic and social experience of UWM students though establishing and maintaining
mentoring partnerships. The peer mentors at LINKS come from as many different backgrounds as the students they serve.
Whether you want to know the best place in Milwaukee to go for fun or how to find your 10am class, the mentors are here to help.
The Balancing Act
Trying desperately to fit everything into your schedule? Can't seem to get your life in order? A little
stressed? If so, LINKS is ready to help straighten it all out. Our Guaranteed 4.0 program can fix your woes.
Whether you're an incoming freshman or a seasoned student, we can help you create a system that works.
LINKS identifies students through referrals from academic advisors, tutoring centers, departments and instructors.
While mentoring would most benefit incoming freshmen and transfer students who are from traditionally underrepresented
groups and/or from economically disadvantaged backgrounds, LINKS offers its services to anyone who is an enrolled student at UWM.
Mentors
Peer Mentors help facilitate participation in the co-curricular life of UWM, encouraging the development of healthy lifestyles and the
exploration of the rich cultural, educational and social opportunities available on campus.
