Travel Grants

Students will be able to apply for support to help cover their travel expenses. We have NSF funds to support 20 students’ travel expenses up to a total of USD $400.00. Applications must include a letter of support from an established researcher. Priority will be given to those students who give talks in order of receipt. Females and underrepresented minorities are especially encouraged to apply.

Established researchers lacking sufficient support from their institutions may also apply for travel grants as well. We have NSF funds to support 20 researchers’ travel expenses up to a total of USD $400 per person. Females and underrepresented minorities are especially encouraged to apply.

Applications and support letters should all be e-mailed to Craig Guilbault, <craigg@uwm.edu>, with the subject line “Spring Topology Travel Grant” (emails without this subject may be deleted by a spam filter).

The deadline for receipt of travel grant applications is February 5, 2008 (the same as the hotel reservation cut-off date)

Travel grant applicants should read “Travel and Accommodation” for instructions on receipts and visa status required for reimbursement.
