The student is applying for a E. Paul and Jane Humke International Mathematics Scholarship. The successful applicant will be hard-working, self-motivated, and both talented in and enthusiastic about mathematics. The scholarship is to enable students to participate in the Budapest Semesters in Mathematics (BSM) Program or another comparable mathematics study abroad program.

Please indicate when and in what capacity you have worked with the student. Please give us your candid opinion on the student's academic ability in mathematics, and the student's ability to adjust to living in a foreign country. Please comment on the student’s ability to work well with others, interest in a study abroad program, and potential for success in the program.
