Spring Forum

Each spring MHRLR hosts a forum on a topic of interest to the human resources and labor relations community. The forum is designed to bring professionals, students and faculty together around a pertinent policy issue.

In 2001 the topic was "The Americans with Disabilities Act in the New Century: A Practitioners View." MHRLR professors Belle Ragins and Alan Levy served as moderators for the panel. Panelists included:
  • Julie Bretz, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission
  • Steve Kessel, Miller Brewing
  • Kim Nistler, City of Milwaukee
  • Sandra Reynolds, MRA the management association
Students are encouraged to participate and suggest future topics for the Forum.

The Forum is sponsored by the MHRLR Outreach Fund.
