Directors CornerIt has been a busy year since our last correspondence. We have new faculty, new classes and a new Spring Forum. Also new are the many students starting the program this fall. Indeed, the phone continues to ring off the hook with those from the community (both near and far) interested in our degree program and certificates. Many, many of these new students and contacts tell us that the program was recommended to them by a friend or colleague who valued their education here. Wow! Our students and alumni stand as out best ambassadors and advertising. Many thanks to all of you for talking us up and please keep doing it.The Spring Forum on the ADA was a great success and a special thanks to all the faculty, alumni and friends who participated, Watch for mention of this year's event and try to attend. Similarly, the monthly lunchtime forum is open to all and advertised on the listserve. (Anyone not on the listserv who'd like to be just send us your email address) We look forward to seeing you. The Forum and Seminar are both funded by the MHRLR Alumni Outreach Fund. We'd love to have your support so send your check of any size made out to The UWM Foundation here to the office. Watch for activities in the coming year and keep us up to date on your own. Our current students often want to have contact with alumni and we at the program are always interested in your thoughts on how best to educate human resource and labor relations professionals.
