Welcome!
Human development beginning with the fetus and extending through adolescence is a particularly sensitive period during which environmental factors play a central role in health status and lifetime health outcomes. The Children's Environmental Health Sciences Core (EHSC) Center connects basic, clinical and public health scientists so that they can carry out significant studies of children's developmental diseases and disorders, ultimately identifying the environmental determinants of such conditions.
