"This is a collection of letters sent to a friend covering the first year of our living in Alaska. 30 years or so later, Fred returned the original letters to me. The idea was born to make a book of letters as a reminder to our children of their year in Alaska. It was a Christmas gift to them, but an edition of 25 were printed as long as the press was running."
