ABSTRACT: Videotape copies of motion picture footage shot by Eugene Millmann of events in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, as well as a few other locations, mostly dating from the 1920s-1930s. The collection contains twenty-six separate clips, including the 1927 Milwaukee parades for aviators Charles Lindbergh and Lester Maitland, the Washington Park Zoo, Milwaukee's 75th and 100th anniversary parades, the 1951 visit of Douglas MacArthur, and the Muirdale Sanitorium. The footage totals 77 minutes in length, is in both black and white and color, and contains no sound. The footage was originally on 16 mm film.

ACCESS RESTRICTIONS: There are no access restrictions on the materials, and the collection is open to all members of the public in accordance with state law. However, the researcher assumes full responsibility for conforming with the laws of libel, privacy, and copyright which may be involved in the use of this collection (Wisconsin Statutes 19.21-19.39).

ARRANGEMENT: The segments are found on the tapes in the order by which they were transferred from film to tape. The inventory lists the segments alphabetically, regardless of which tape they are on.
