About the LTC

LTC staff comprises experienced instructors who understand the classroom and online teaching environments and who use technologies in their own courses. They offer consultations, workshops, and individual support designed to help instructors become independent users and developers of e-learning resources that improve teaching and learning.

Mission/History of the LTC

The LTC is here to help UWM faculty and teaching staff in their efforts to enhance their teaching and student learning through the meaningful use of learning technologies.

Partners

The LTC has several partners within UWM and the UW System as well as and throughout the World.

Projects/Consultants

The Learning Technology Center at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee has provided consulting services for institutions developing Hybrid and online courses. Our services have focused upon 1) working with faculty who are developing Hybrid or online courses, and 2) working with faculty support staff who are designing faculty development programs to assist instructors designing Hybrid or online courses. The LTC has also been involved in several projects within the university system, including the Hybrid Course Project and the Faculty TA Web Project.
