Research Interests: Television news content, trends in local television news, use of new media and the impact on television newscasts.

Teaching Areas: Television News Management and Producing, Radio News Reporting and Producing, Media Relations.

News Director, UWM PantherVision, campus newscast.
News Director, UWM PantherCast, Web newscast.
Secretary, Milwaukee Press Club, the oldest continuously operating press club in North America.
Wisconsin Broadcasters Association Education Committee.
Creator and news director of a first of its kind statewide college radio news network (WBA College Radio News Network; wbacollegenews.net).
Consultant with The Broadcast Image Group, an international media-consulting firm headquartered in San Antonio, TX.

Contributing producer at WISN-TV, one of the country's leading ABC affiliates.

Employed for 20 years at WISN-TV prior to position at UWM. Management positions held include producer, executive producer, assistant news director.
