I have just returned from a wonderful week of joy, wisdom, and instruction at The Clearing in Wisconsin. The topic was Sigurd Olson and his concept of Listening Point......DTS, Illinois

I recently visited Ely (where) I had a joyous opportunity to visit Sigurd's house, writing shack, and Listening Point ... was in a state of euphoria as I stood in his viewing room, in his shack, and walked the paths and enjoyed the simple coziness of the cabin on Listening Point, I was thrilled to be there.......RMS, New York

Listening Point was everything I imagined it to be and more. Perhaps it has not stood still in time, but it has aged gracefully and has retained all the characteristics that Sig searched for so many years ago. Today, just as in 1956, one can visit Listening Point and experience a composite of all the places in the north that one has known. Certainly, it was a composite of all I have known and a memory I will cherish for a lifetime.......TG, Wisconsin
