Nothing much to report. Sigurd is continuing to work on the bill that would eventually become the Wilderness Act. At the end of the month, he goes to Washington, D.C. to spend the winter working there.

November 1972 (age 73)

Wilderness Days is published on November 10. A second printing before the publication date brought the pre-publication total run to 18,300 copies. As usual, Sigurd spent time in Minneapolis, doing radio and TV interviews and a signing at Dayton's. He also (as usual) did a signing at the book department of the Glass Block in Duluth.
