The Wisconsin Poll

The Wisconsin Poll is a quarterly survey of residents (18 years and over) of Wisconsin on political and public policy issues. The Wisconsin Poll provides decision makers with an opportunity to gather high quality, low cost public opinion data.

As an omnibus survey, the Wisconsin Poll consists of multiple sets of questions purchased by different clients for their proprietary use. Although the questions each client asks are proprietary, the overhead costs of the survey are shared by all clients, creating lower per question rates. Clients may purchase a single question, a few questions, or a large number of questions.

Who Can Benefit From The Wisconsin Poll

Public Officials and Interest Groups: The Wisconsin Poll can be used to measure public awareness of community issues, major news events, support for legislation, or referendum, or to determine the health, educational, and human services needs of different segments of the population.

Business and Industry: Businesses can use the Wisconsin Poll to design marketing strategies for product and services; measure consumer confidence; or to evaluate the impact of a public relations campaign.

Researchers can use the Wisconsin Poll to test hypotheses about the causes of social, economic and political change, and to evaluate the impact of a demonstration project.
