A central part of our Institute's mission is to share knowledge and information across UW System campuses about curricular developments in the area of racial and ethnic studies. The Syllabi Bank does just that. Below you will find a listing of the campuses in the UW System. Click on a campus to see a listing of its courses and syllabi. Each campus list is organized alphabetically by the instructor's last name, and includes her/his e-mail address, department, course title, and semester last taught. Click on the course title and the syllabus will be displayed.
Like any such enterprise, this Syllabi Bank will remain a work in progress. We encourage you to submit your syllabi from any relevant courses. In order of preference, the methods are: (i) sent electronically as a pdf file; (ii) sent electronically as a Word document; or (iii) mail a hard copy that we can scan and then post. Send to Tom Tonnesen, the Institute's associate director, at: tonnesen@uwm.edu. (The Institute reserves the right to decide whether to display or not all course syllabi that are submitted.) We trust this resource will aid us in learning from each other and developing a strong and diverse base of courses on racial and ethnic studies throughout the UW System.
