UW Institute on Race and Ethnicity- Kaleidoscope
The Kaleidoscope II newsletter is published and mailed by the UW System Institute on Race and Ethnicity (IRE) once annually in the spring.  This publication includes three staples:  the “Executive Director’s Diary”; an “Adventures in Ideas” article featuring the scholarly work of a UW System faculty/staff member; and a “Profile” piece highlighting the personal work and background of a chosen faculty/staff member.  Each issue also includes annotated descriptions of the grants that the IRE awarded in the past year, as well as photos of many previous recipients. The Kaleidoscope II serves as an important tool in informing the UW System community on current trends in research, curriculum development, and events/activities, and is meant to encourage communication and collaboration across the campuses and disciplines.

The Kaleidoscope II is edited by the IRE’s senior administrative specialist, Judy Treskow, and she always is open to publishing relevant news from the various campuses, as well as hearing from those who would like to be considered for the “Adventures in Ideas” and “Profile" articles. We encourage you to contact her at: jtreskow@uwm.edu or click on the Submit Event Information link. Should you like to be included on the mailing list, please click on the Mailing List link.
