Current Research Interests:
Professor Hamdani's research interests are in Islamic civilization, the Fatimid Movement/Caliphate, Medieval Yemen, history of religion, and the geo-politics of the voyages of discovery. He teaches Middle-Eastern history, both medieval and modern.
