Position Description (PD) Template Format - Classified Staff Employees
(Format, Definitions, and Instructions)

This format is used when describing the position duties of a current or future classified staff employee. A PD in this format is required whenever a position has changed enough to warrant a Position Description update or when a position has changed enough to warrant a request for a reclassification or an employee-initiated audit. It is also required as part of the recruitment package to initiate recruitment for a new or vacant position.
This template provides the format, as well as definitions and instructions related to the various sections of the PD. It is to be used in conjunction with the PD cover form to the template (DCC 10.)
