Research Seminar
Date: October 24, 2003
Time: 3:00 P.M.
Location: American Geographical Society Library, 3rd Floor of the Golda Meir Library.
As graduate students in a research setting, knowledge of research methods is imperative. Understanding how to effectively undertake various research methods, such as a literature search may seem straightforward, but can sometimes be a complicated process. Once the research is finished, publishing work is something that requires a great deal of extra thought and effort. This seminar will be designed to help graduate students gain effective research strategies, using various sources of information, such as the Golda Meir Library, the American Geographical Society Collection, online resources, etc. Also, the submission process for publication will be discussed during this seminar. Departmental faculty will lead this session.
