Opportunities for GivingThe Roy Arthur Swanson Comparative Literature Scholarship Fund The Roy Arthur Swanson Comparative Literature Scholarship Fund (RASCL) was created in honor of Professor Emeritus Roy Arthur Swanson, whose dedication to scholarship and teaching sustained Comparative Literature at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee for nearly forty years. Because of Professor Swanson's keen interest in undergraduate students, this scholarship is dedicated to undergraduate majors and minors in Comparative Literature. Since 1998, the RASCL scholarship has awarded $7,500 to undergraduate students in Comparative Literature. The Comparative Literature Program Fund The Comparative Literature Program Fund complements the RASCL scholarship: it provides further research and instructional support, and particularly financial assistance for the very fine graduate students who have come to study here at UWM from all corners of globe, from Chicago to China and from Madison to Mongolia. Contributions to the Roy Arthur Swanson Comparative Literature Scholarship Fund and the Comparative Literature Program Fund are tax-deductible. Online contributions may be made via credit card or pledge through the UWM Foundation; checks, made payable to the UWM Foundation, may be sent to the address below. Please designate the account number of the fund to which you are donating on the online form or in the note section of your check.
