741 Backgrounds of Modernism II. 3 cr. G. Seminar on major figures and intellectual forces that have shaped the history of modernism and postmodernism.

820 Seminar in Advanced Topics in Literary Criticism and Research. (Subtitled). 1-3 cr. G. - A Modern Studies practicum that focuses on professional development and connecting to UWM's broader intellectual community. Retakable w/chg in topic to 9 cr max.
