Course Description

We have a fascination with all things Celtic from the "Lord of the Dance" to wearing green on Saint Patrick's Day. This Freshman Seminar delves deeper into the folklore and folkways of the Celtic nations. We'll explore the mythological world of the sprites and fairies, learn about material culture and foodways, even discuss the political  ramifications of peat moss digging.
