Other Information: Poetic Awards: "Morning Glory" won 2nd prize in the Milwaukee Public Library's "Love Letters Lost and Found" Valentine's Day contest in February, and "The Only Children of Single-Parent Gods" won 2nd prize in the Wisconsin Academy Review's poetry contest. It appeared, along with "August Night Journey, Chicago Emergency Room : A Sestina." in the spring issue of their magazine. Readings: April 7, she read with the other winning poets at Avol's Bookstore in Madison, WI. She also read two other poems: "Tying the Knot" and "On the 50th Anniversary of Brown vs. the Topeka Board of Education".
