Course Description
This course will be focused on the study and production of funny texts (poems, stories, stand-up routines, skits, sitcoms). In addition to these genres, we will also explore the various genres of comedy, such as satire, parody, absurdism, miscommunication, and timing. Students will read and produce humorous pieces along with a few response papers.
