Course Description
In this course, students will learn effective strategies for (a) managing writing projects in work contexts; (b) negotiating all stages of the writing process in work contexts, including research, analysis, planning, document design, usability testing, and revision; and (c) collaborating with others on a writing project in ways that reflect strong problem solving and people skills. This course will benefit two types of students in particular: 1) Students from any discipline who are seeking to broaden their knowledge base and credentials in project management and professional writing. 2) Workplace practitioners who seek a theoretical foundation for the work they are doing or will do in project management, along with advanced skill in this important type of work.
