Available Internships

The following are organizations that have participated in our internship program in the past or that have said they are willing to participate. Note that not every placement is available every semester. Before beginning the application process, Google the organization you are interested in to familiarize yourself with it. Do not contact any potential placement until you have met with the instructor.

If you do not see a placement that interests you, or if you are interested in interning at an organization not on our list, we will work to create a customized placement for you.

The skills required for most placements include: Sound oral and written communication skills; solid command of English grammar, usage, and syntax; clerical skills; attention to detail; ability to manage multiple projects; general computer and Internet skills; good telephone skills; ability to work under deadlines; self-motivation; willingness to learn. In addition, some placements require familiarity with specific computer programs, such as Word, Excel, Windows, Quark Xpress, InDesign, Adobe FrameMaker, Adobe Acrobat, RogoHelp, WebWorks or Publisher.
