Affilation Agreements

The following states stipulate Worker’s Compensation coverage for student experiences requiring affiliation agreements:

California, Oregon, Washington and Colorado

UWM students will not be able to do internships, practicums or clinical placements in these states as they are not considered employees and therefore not covered under Worker’s Compensation.
