Contents of Exit Signs Removed during Lapham Hall Renovation Special consideration needs to be made for disposal of components of exit signs. Hazardous waste components include: batteries, lamps and circuit boards.

All electronics to be removed during renovation must be recycled or disposed accounting for the hazardous constituents, such as lamps and ballasts. During demolition and construction, all electronics scrap must be turned over to the campus for reuse, if that was determined, or to the DFD representative or the person designated by DFD.
