Research:
My primary interests center around close relationships, including romantic relationships, family dynamics, and friendships. My research has focused on jealousy expression, long-distance relationships, and family secrets, among other things-I have recently worked on several thesis projects exploring infidelity and "friends with benefits" relationships, so those are new interests for me. In addition, I am currently working on two long-term projects: one on mothers living with HIV (exploring the process of self-disclosure to children), and one on military marriage (examining pre-, during, and post-deployment issues). I have also worked on several meta-analyses, covering a wide range of topics.
