Research Interests:
My research focuses on the changing nature of the workplace, and how employee communication and behavior continue to evolve due to technological advances, changing economic and workplace conditions, and globalization. My most recent project investigated the comparative work experiences of teleworking versus office-based employees. Additional research interests include vocational socialization and the development of the psychological contract, including recent projects on the significance of internship experiences, interpersonal sources, and exposure to downsizing in shaping students' pre-employment work expectations.
