Mohsen Bahmani-Oskooee, Director

Mohsen Bahmani-Oskooee, professor of economics, was appointed to serve as Director of the CRIE in September 1999. Prior to this appointment he served as chair of the Economics Department at UWM from 1992 to 1998. He specializes in international economics with an emphasis on international finance and open-economy macroeconomics. He has published extensively in professional economic journals and currently serves as editor of the Journal of Economic Studies and as an associate editor for Applied Economics and Applied Economics Letters. He is also on the editorial board of ten other journals.
