The Certificate is an interdisciplinary program designed for the undergraduate interested in exploring the history, society, cultures, environments, languages, economics and politics of Latin America and the Caribbean. The Certificate includes a wide range of fields, not only courses in the arts, humanities, and social sciences, but also courses in the natural sciences and professional schools and colleges. Adding a Latin American area studies specialization serves to strengthen a wide range of majors, including those in Letters and Science, business, education, social work, and others.
